PPGEP's research line is Engineering and Development of Product and Process.

The research line of the proposed program focuses on the main problems in the context of the manufacturing industries. It covers emerging issues related to Manufacturing Processes, Quality and Productivity, Product and Process Engineering, Maintenance Management and Operational Research Operacional and aims to meet the demand for research aimed at solving practical problems, as well as researches that generate new knowledge about improvements in the competitiveness of manufacturing companies in terms of cost reduction, quality improvement, flexibility and Performance in industrial production.
