Course History
The Postgraduate Program in Production Engineering, at the Master's level, was recommended by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) on 10/26/2016, at 167a. Meeting of the Technical-Scientific Council (CTC) in the area of Engineering III (Opinion CNE / CES nº 145/2017).
With a single area of concentration in “Operations Engineering and Industrial Processes”, it aims to train professionals capable of acting in the development of research in the area of Engineering of Operations and Industrial Processes, to deal with problems related to the use of human, physical resources and financial resources for the generation of world-class goods and services. It is also the objective of the course to train future professors and researchers in Production Engineering to work in universities and research institutes and government agencies to promote the improvement of Brazilian conditions in this field of knowledge.
The program has the research line "Engineering and Development of Products and Processes". The academic master's course is held in the morning and afternoon, from Monday to Friday, between classroom activities, research and guidance.
The internal resolutions that they created and that regulate the course within UFG are:
- Resolution 001/2017 of the University Council (CONSUNI);
- Resolution 1436 of the Teaching, Research, Extension and Culture Council (CEPEC).
